The participation of the first Greek delegation in Mobile World Congress 2013 turned out to be very successful
The participation in the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2013, held in Barcelona, Spain on 25 – 28 February had a very positive outcome for the 25 companies-members of the Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC), the association who had the initiative to give its members the opportunity to present their products and services in the world market.
The Ministry of Development was our collaborator and top private held companies supported us: Samsung Electronics Hellas as the Golden Sponsor and Eurobank as well as Spring Integrated Communications as Sponsors.
The delegation fulfilled the expectations of its participants, which were as follows:
· The enhancement of the extroversion of the Greek innovative companies who are mobile application oriented
· The presence of their achievements in the world market
· The networking with potential collaborators from other countries who also participated at MWC
· The new synergies to be formed for their future initiatives and actions
The moto of the delegation was “Innovation born in Greece goes Global”, providing a new perspective of the Greek presence.
Many companies, as well as visitors passed by the Greek pavilion. Also, we made new contacts with the representatives of the other national pavilions participated (like Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Israel, Egypt, France, Canada etc), aiming at the promotion of possible co-operations, whilst we met officials of the Mobile World Capital-Barcelona.
Apart from the business perspective of the Greek delegation, we organized for our visitors-potential clients the “Taste the Greek Spirit Party” on Wednesday the 27th, offering traditional beverages (provided by the Crete Exporters Association).
The Greek pavilion in this year’s Mobile World Congress had a very positive outcome. Just before we leave Barcelona, HAMAC renewed its participation in MWC 2014, by signing the continuity of success
