ΣΕΚΕΕ-HAMAC, participating at InnovAthens, the Hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Technopolis Athens, addressed invitation to all its members to participate actively either by presenting innovative products or by sharing their experiences. Warply, leader in Mobile Marketing and CRM and ΣΕΚΕΕ-HAMAC member, is organizing a special event on  “Mobile payments” and new technologies in our everyday transactions through smartphones, with the support of INNOVATHENS, the Hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Technopolis Athens, on Thursday the 13th of November 2014 at 18.00. ΣΕΚΕΕ-HAMAC @ 4th International Conference MobiHealth 2014

MobiHealth 2014, 4th International Conference on Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare – “Transforming healthcare through innovations in mobile and wireless technologies”, will take place – under the auspices of HAMAC – in Athens, Greece, November 3–5, 2014 at Margi Hotel, Vouliagmeni. The conference proposes to continue and extend the focus areas of the first three editions, emphasizing on specific research and scientific challenges in the Healthcare Technology domain faced in Europe and globally and hence more interactive input from industry. The objectives of the conference are to advance medical diagnosis, treatment, and patient care through application of wireless communications, mobile computing and sensing technologies. Contributions will be solicited regarding the interdisciplinary design of efficient protocols and technologies to help implement and provide advanced mobile health care applications. The essence of the conference lies in its interdisciplinary nature, with original contributions cutting across boundaries but all within the ambit of the application of mobile communications (technologies, standards, solutions, methodologies, …) aiming at the improvement of human health. “The Satellite Event” that will take place within the framework of the 4th International Conference on Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare (Mobihealth 2014), is particularly focused in bringing together the research community and the industry. To this end, it includes a number of different events that aim to facilitate communication and collaboration between these two diverse fields. “The Satellite Event” includes a number of sessions with presentations and demos of products or projects, placing particular emphasis in their practical and commercial use. Copernicus – Sentinels Serving Society and the Environment Conference

The Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Space Agency and the European Commission are jointly organizing the “Copernicus – Sentinels Serving Society and the Environment” Conference, that will be held at the EVGENIDIS Foundation in Athens, Greece, from 12 to 13 May 2014, ushering in a new era for the most important Earth Observation Programme to date. The conference will focus on how geospatial information and services empower public administrations and business to improve public services, to better their relations with the citizens and customers respectively, and to take better informed decisions on future territorial development, with socio-economic and environmental considerations in mind.

ΣΕΚΕΕ-HAMAC at «e-Volution awards 2013»

HAMAC is supporting the ceremony of e-Volution awards 2013, which is taking place for second year on Wednesday the 5th of December 2012 at Athenauem Intercontinental Hotel, Athens. Scope of these awards is the promotion and award of the best practices in the area of e-commerce, aiming at the development of the sector, through best case studies, which will consist a template for other companies as well. ΣΕΚΕΕ-HAMAC at «Digital Trends 2012: Enabling Mobile Technology» Forum

Under the auspices of HAMAC, the 2nd annual Forum “Digital Trends 2012: Enabling Mobile Technology” is taking place on Friday 14th of December 2012 at Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens. Since the ICT sector is radically influenced by Mobile Technology, the ICT department is called to design or adopt the appropriate applications that will improve customer experience and increase the competitiveness of products and services. Given the increasing tendency of businesses to outsource the design and the development of Mobile applications, while at the same time disregard the resources of ICT and the role of CIO, Digital Trends 2012 will help ICT Directors to formulate a comprehensive strategy for the adoption of Mobile Technologies. The forum is organized by the Hellenic Professionals Informatics Society (HePIS). HAMAC will participate in a round table discussion, during which, top level professionals from the main bodies of the sector (HePIS, SEPE, SEV, ΕΕΚΤ, JA) will apply their statements and the conclusion will be a total of measurements useful in the business credit of Mobility in Greece.

Foreign Investment Workshop «Investment Promotion Policies»

HAMAC is participating at the «Foreign Invsetment Workshop and Round Table: Towards a New Generation of Investment Promotion Policies – Implications for Greece», which will be held on October 22, 2012 at the Main Auditorium of National Center for Scientific Research (NCSR) from 10:00 to 14:00. This workshop will set the focus on investment funding strategies, ethical investment models for sustainable growth, privatizations and the restructing of the Greek economy and innovation strategies in formulating the new entrepreneurship in Greece.
