Athens June 22, – The Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC), announces the appointment of Mr Yiannis Kotsis-Giannarakis, as General Manager
Mr Giannarakis is an enterpreneur, active in electronic publishing and digital content since 1985. He was one of the founding members of the Greek leading internet portal www.in.gr, where he acted as Managing Director for the first 5 years, from conception till its establishment as a major media factor. Among others, he was Director of the Greek edition of National Geographic books and videos, newspaper collumnist and editor of various electronic and paper publications. He is founder and share holder at Magenta Ltd.
Born 1959 in Alexandria of Egypt, he studied Biology in the University of Athens.
Taking the opportunity, Mr Yiannis Kotsis-Giannarakis stated: «It is a great honor and a big challenge at the same for me, to act as General Manager in a very significant Association which represents the most upgoing sector of the greek technology market. This Association has a major vision, perspectives, initiatives and an excellent team of managers, whose business mentality is based on the extravesion of their companies. We have all the elements to success in the future».
Mr Costis Papadimitrakopoulos, President of HAMAC welcomed Mr Giannarakis and stated accordingly: «It is a great pleasure for us to welcome Mr Giannarakis at the management team of our Association and we wish him all the best for his new and challenging duties. We are persuaded that his knowledge and innovative way of thinking, will contribute to an ultimate mobile ecosystem!!».
