HAMAC supported and participated at MOBIP 2012: Pan European Partnership and Investment for Mobile Services event which was held in Thessaloniki on the 31st May – 1st June 2012.
Over 40 Business Angels, VC investors and leading business representatives from 16 countries attended the event for a highly productive 2day of pitching to investors, partnering, showcasing and networking.
With Mobile Services representing a key area of exponential growh and business opportunity across Europe, this event was organised in the context of MOBIP project, which is supported by a European partnership from Greece, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands and Italy. MOBIP project is aiming at the successful growth of mobile services businesses through internationalization and investment.
During the event, three Greek companies, members of HAMAC, with international activities (Upstream SA, Globo SA, Velti SA) presented the factors that contributed in their internationalization.
Mobile application enterprises had the opportunity to take part in pitch training, to improve their presentation throughout the day, supported by the managing staff of VC companies and mentoring from investors, corporate and expert intermediaries.
